Private practice doctor needing to start their own business. We are retained to find a telephone system to meet the needs of the practice, design a structured cabling system and work with the electrician of the new office space to ensure that all conduit boxes & power outlets are placed properly, order all telephone lines and internet service.

Not For Profit company was renovating a new building using public funds. The requirement from the public funds was to obtain several bids and choose the lowest qualified bidder. We were retained to assist in the design, RFP development and implementation, and vendor selection for the telephone/voice mail system and structured cabling system.

Carol stated “With all of the details of the remodeling project…it was a relief to work with a professional that could interpret our needs and make informed suggestions about the selection of a telephone system and installation of voice and data cabling. Not for Profit company with the goal of updating equipment in two, possibly three major facilities. The goal was to obtain competitive pricing while not limiting fair competition. By retaining a consultant they saved 33% over the budget amount that was given to them by a local vendor just months prior to hiring our company! This allowed them to perform necessary equipment updates in other areas such as WAN and LAN infrastructure that were needed but were going to have to wait for a new budget to be established.

Through chosen vendors we project managed the changing of the line services from the local telephone company, all three legs of the new telephone network and new WAN equipment on time and within the original budget. Since this time we have been working on an on-going cost analysis which has brought in over $10,000 in credits and a recurring savings of over $1,800 per month.

Medical office with out of control telecom spending calls on our assistance. We identified unnecessary phone lines, removed costly resold line services, and saved this medical office $12,000/year on their telecom costs (a reduction of 35% of annual telecom spending). We are currently embarking on a new building/RFP project with this same customer.

Car dealership, building two dealerships on the same plot of land. We came in after the architect plans had been done and the main construction contractors had been chosen (which included the cabling contractor.) Through the discover process, the RFP construction and vendor evaluations, the customer chose to utilize a full IP system. At that time we worked with the cabling contractor on a re-design of the cabling system reducing the cost of their contract which could then be reapplied to the telephony project. We also coordinated the installation with the construction project management team, computer system vendor and more.

This customer was able to concentrate on the move of their dealership and be sure that they would have working lines and phones at the precise time. Further, during a cost audit we were able to reduce yearly telephone service expenses by approximately $9,000.00.
