Municipal Structured Park District 2004 – Present:
 
Retained in 2004 to assist client in design, vendor selection and project management for replacement of the outdated telephone systems at their 3 major facilities.  This led to a cost audit of all 36 facilities in early 2005.  This resulted in on-going savings of 32% plus a credit of $25,000 in recouped billing errors.  In 2006 were then contracted to perform an energy audit of their largest facility and assist with evaluating alternate energy suppliers.

Medical Office in Springfield, IL (2007):

Performed audit of their telephone services.  We looked at several different carriers.  AT&T was the existing carrier, Call One was one option and McCleod was another option.  Due to local calling structure the client chose the McCleod circuit.  Transition was from POTS lines to McCleod PRI completed in December of 2007 resulting in a 58% on-going savings.

Nursing Home in Morton IL (2005-2008):

Retained to assist client in design, vendor selection and project management for new construction project.  While construction was beginning we conducted an audit that resulted in a 33% savings to the client during the 2 year construction process.  During construction we wrote the RFP for the telephone network, the wireless phone network used to integrate to the nurse call system and assist mobile employees, coordinated installation and moves of all lines and circuits, plus assisted with core data structure implementation.

Performed audit of PRI circuit, POTS lines and internet services.  We removed (6) POTS lines, (4) other un-needed lines from a combined circuit and trimmed the internet cost.  Savings were 53% annually.

Medical Office in Peoria Illinois 2005-2007:
 
Performed a cost audit for them in 2005 which allowed us to clean up existing AT&T accounts including their long distance account, eliminate wasteful lines that were left open after a technology upgrade.  Retained in 2006 to facilitate the consolidation of two locations into a new building under construction.  This project consisted of design, vendor selection and project management of all building systems, network infrastructure including, paging, lines and circuits.  Part of our responsibility was to ensure the network design accommodated the MRI suite, the X-Ray PAX system, and all other medical technologies.

Reduced number of local telephone lines resulting in additional savings of 18% for local expenses.  Currently, I am their counsel on all phone line changes, review their contracts and billing on an on-going basis to ensure they are maximizing their expenses and bringing in new services properly.  They were with AT&T when we first started but they moved to Call One and Access One for their phone services while internet services stayed with AT&T.
